Amber Shaeffer joined C&A as Chief Financial Officer in August 2023, bringing more than 15 years of experience in financial management within government and non-profit sectors. She began her career as an auditor with Rea and Associates in 2008 and has since held significant roles, including Treasurer/CFO at Summit Academy Management for seven years, where she focused on educating children with learning challenges such as Autism, ADHD and ADD. Shaeffer served as treasurer/CFO for the Strasburg Franklin Local School District and briefly as director of finance at St. John's Villa, a non-profit providing residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kent State University and an MBA from Morehead State University, along with a State of Ohio Treasurer’s License.
Passionate about making a positive impact, Shaeffer is dedicated to supporting organizations that provide vital services in education, housing, vocational training, and mental health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, and their six children, and cheering on her sons at rugby games.

Hobbies:
Boating, scrapbooking, reading, cooking with her youngest son, Braden.
