As Defined by Triple P, the Positive Parenting Program is a family support system that focuses on helping children tap into their potential. This program aims to provide help and guidance when families need it most. Triple P works by creating supportive environments and treating behavioral and emotional problems. Prevention is an integral part of the program as well.
Triple P is tailored to fit the needs of any family, tackling issues such as temper tantrums, relational conflict, and children with additional needs or mental health issues. Parents will be given the skills needed to navigate difficulties by implementing strategies that develop positive relationships, attitudes, and behaviors. There are numerous courses available to families. Each course focuses on a different age group or life challenge.
C&A's Youth Program Manager Larissa Haring is offering Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) classes.
