MONTH OF GIVING

Every donation you make helps provide essential care and resources to children and families facing mental health challenges. Your support directly funds programs that offer therapy, counseling, and other critical services, helping young people build resilience, develop coping skills, and thrive emotionally. For many children in our community, access to mental health care can be life changing. However, financial barriers, stigma, and a lack of available resources often prevent them from getting the support they need. In 2024, C&A delivered 59,747 counseling sessions and reached over 3,500 people through community outreach. By contributing to our cause, you’re helping to remove these barriers and create brighter futures for children struggling

with mental health challenges. Your generosity ensures that children have the tools they need to navigate life’s difficulties and reach their full potential. Together, we can make a real, lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most. Join us in making a difference for the mental well-being of the next generation.

“I love that it’s for children,” says Jeremy Hesson, reflecting on his passion for supporting Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (C&A). As a dedicated Board Member, Hesson finds it a natural fit to contribute his expertise to an organization that makes a meaningful impact on young lives.

In his professional role as Human Resource Manager at JRC, Hesson brings a wealth of experience in leadership, team development, and strategic planning. His background in public relations and political science, which he studied at the University of Akron, complements his commitment to community service.

A proud Canton native and Canton South High School graduate, Hesson is deeply invested in the success of his hometown. His passion for making a difference extends beyond his work, and he is excited to continue supporting children’s mental health in our community.

John Moses, a graduate of Perry High School, is the Vice President of Professional Services at Advizex Technologies. With over 20 years of executive IT management experience across industries such as insurance, financial services, construction, and technology consulting, John is a seasoned leader with a passion for technology and community involvement. He holds multiple technical and information security certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and

ISC2, reflecting his deep expertise in the field.

John’s connection to Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (C&A) began through his sister, Angela Moses, who introduced him to the organization by inviting him to its annual fundraising events. After meeting with C&A staff, board members, and Executive Director Joe French, John was inspired to become involved.

“I recently transitioned from a career in information technology executive management to the consulting realm to focus more on life’s journey and become more involved in our community,” said John. He is deeply committed to C&A’s mission to support youth and families, and when presented with the opportunity to join the board, he couldn’t have been more honored or excited.
