Georgene Voros strives to treat all children and families at C&A with the care and professionalism she would expect for her own family. She believes families deserve quality clinicians with the best skills, the best training, and big hearts. She also believes that families and youth deserve a safe and comfortable environment.
Voros began working at C&A as an intern in 1997 and was hired full time in 1998. She has been a therapist working with children from early childhood through adolescence, has worked as a school-based therapist, a trauma therapist, a DBT therapist, and a SIBR therapist. She is a clinical supervisor and has held multiple supervisory and administrative positions overseeing numerous departments and programs at C&A. In her current role as Chief Clinical Officer, Voros is responsible for overseeing all clinical staff and functions at C&A.
She also collaborates with funders and community partners (StarkMHAR, School Districts, Jobs and Family Services, Juvenile Court) to help with our program initiatives. When she is not working, she enjoys painting, traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, children, family and friends.
Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in management from Malone University and a master’s degree in Community Counseling from The University of Akron. Voros is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S).
