“I love that it is for children,” said Jeremy Hesson, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Board Member, on what he liked about working with the agency.
Being a board member for a children’s agency is a natural fit and extension of his job period. He is the human resource manager at JRC.
Hesson grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton South High School. He continued his education at the University of Akron, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations and political science.
“I internally freak out when speaking in front of a crowd,” said Hesson, who has two dogs, Dante and Lillie, when asked a fact people would be surprised to learn about him.
Hesson has a philanthropic background. When living in Pleasanton, CA., he did a lot of community service.
Upon returning to Stark County, Kristina from Leadership Stark County reached out to him to take part in the program.
His advice to people, “pray through everything!”
