Colin Christensen started at Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health (C&A) 30 years ago as a practicum student. Sixteen years ago, he returned to C&A as a psychologist who worked in the Psychological and Counseling Services (PACS) Department. Currently, Dr. Christensen is the Doctoral Psychology Internship Training Director and Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator for the agency.
In between his stints at C&A, Dr. Christensen completed an internship at Dallas Child Guidance Clinic. Following his internship, he worked for parochial schools in Cleveland, Northeast Ohio Behavioral Health, Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility, PSI and Akron Children’s Hospital serving private schools in Summit and Cuyahoga counties, Total Education Solutions in Akron and Fordyce and Associates in Stark County.
Dr. Christensen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Texas Wesleyan University. He earned his master’s degree and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Akron.
