As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and direction of our organization. You will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to our community, ensuring that our programs are effective, accessible, and responsive to the needs of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with our mission and objectives, driving growth, innovation, and impact in the field of mental health.
  2. Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team of professionals, fostering a culture of kindness, collaboration, excellence, and compassion.
  3. Program Development and Evaluation: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of our mental health programs and services, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and expansion.
  4. Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding agencies, advocating for the importance of mental health awareness and support.
  5. Financial Management: Manage the financial resources of the organization effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality assurance mechanisms to uphold the highest standards of care and ethical practice across all aspects of our operations.
  7. Policy and Advocacy: Represent the organization in policy discussions and advocacy efforts aimed at advancing mental health initiatives, influencing systemic change, and reducing stigma.
  8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the organization's reputation, operations, or financial viability, proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
  9. Professional Development: Support the professional growth and development of staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and skill-building.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, public health, business administration, education) preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in leadership roles within the mental health sector or related nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues, evidence-based practices, and service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus and inspire others.
  • Proven track record of fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within teams and communities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing mental health services.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and a passion for improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
